ELIZABETH COONEY AND REDMOND O'TOOLE
Redmond O'Toole Redmond plays an 8-string 'Brahms guitar' in the cello position connected to a special resonating box. The additional range of the guitar allows an expansion of the repertoire as well as incorporating original music for classical guitar. His repertoire features many of his own arrangements of Baroque and Classical music previously unknown on guitar. Please go to www.redmondotoole.com for more information. Duo Elizabeth and Redmond formed a duo for violin and guitar in 2006. Elizabeth subsequently featured as violinist (second movement of Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez) on Redmond's first CD and they have since toured together performing an eclectic mix of repertoire including works by Bach, Giuliani, Dowland, Paganini, de Falla, Granados, Villa Lobos, Scnittke and Ben Dwyer.
